“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay .Room 66 was ideal and would ask to stay there again.We had a very nice meal in the restaurant and sevice was very good .Our only criticism is we could not get the shower to work ,the water was barely warm and the valve to turn it up was not working.We have mentioned it to reception and hope if we stay again it will be fixed.”

“A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……

“Great location. The hotel is almost next door to the railway station. The room is clean, warm. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that there is no lift and the staircase is very narrow, which made carrying four suitcases upstairs a real challenge.”

“Well appointed and clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast and as I have to eat gluten free, reception provided me with a printed list of menu items. Food was good. Easy walk to town centre and the excellent park. Plenty of free parking. Would definitely stay here again. ”
