“Don't judge a book by it's cover. Yes the property is very old, but the staff makes up for it. Very polite and helpful. Rooms are very clean beds are fresh and towels are fluffy clean. Place was not at all what I was expecting it was a very nice stay”

“The room wasn't as photographed but otherwise clean and a terrific shower! The parking was a tight. The refrugerator had mold and the microwave did not have the plate for rotation. Bed was clean, nice made and the A/C, the best.”

“The location is near to many attractions, Kemah and NASA, and driving to Galveston where I worked for some research projects is not far。 Nick was quite helpful, and the lady always provided nice breakfast (you could request how you like your eggs cooked)。 I stayed for over a week and needed to write paper, so I did need a quiet place, Melrose was perfect for me. ”
