“Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. ”

“A beautiful spacious house, nicer than in the photos. Comfy bed and we appreciated the Christmas decorations. Had a nice wakk past the lake and up the hill in to the woods. ”

“It was a great place just outside the city. Perfect for our family of six to head into Edinburgh or south to Peebles. Hosts were great and the place was clean and neat.”

“Very cozy cottage. Good location and also public transport nearby which was great. Small tip, add a bread knife and corkscrew and it would be more than perfect ;) We'd love to return”

“The cottage is very nice. It is on two levels, the kitchen/dining is down quite a steep staircase that I found difficult to negotiate. I'm nearly 70 and my daughter fast approaching 50, so not spring chickens! If you want to use the sofa as a bed there is a 35 pound charge for linen that isn't made clear when booking. We both slept in the one bed which was fine. Extra charges should be mAde clear on booking and the fact it only has one bedroom was disappointing. Otherwise nice place if somewhat……
