“We were a group aged nine to eighty. There was a lot on offer to cater for us all. There were nine of us and the place was big enough for us to spread out and enjoy varying activities. A bus stop outside going into Edinburgh was a bonus. Would highly recommend it. Does Scotland proud!”

“We loved the location (we were aware of the parking potentially being problematic, but parked outside house all stay) and being on a hill didn’t cause us any problems. It was worth it for the view alone! The property has retained its charm whilst having all mod cons and everything we needed. The host was so accessible, but we didn’t need anything. The train ride into Edinburgh was easy, even with the dog.”

“LOVED IT! We loved everything about our stay at 1 Bellevue Terrace. The location is great, quiet and residential, yet just a ten minute walk to the Royal Mile. The apartment is beautiful, just like a place that a character from a Hallmark movie would live in! And a Christmas tree! What a nice touch! The owners were 100% responsive, before, during, and after our stay. Stay here, you will love it as much as we did!”

“Easy to get to/from the train station, walkable to everything. The home is old and charming, which also means the floors are quite uneven and squeaky. We had pretty much everything we need at the home and what wasn't there we were able to find at one of the 2 stores within a couple blocks from the apartment. Communication was a bit of a challenge prior to our visit, but by the day of our stay, the wonderful Sonia came through and addressed all of our questions and concerns.”

“We stayed at Gayfield Place the last week of September. The house is an easy walk from the Picardy Place tram stop and very close to St James Square which is a large shopping mall. You can store your luggage at customer service for a reasonable fee if your flight arrives early.The house is lovely. Its an older home with beautiful molding. The kitchen is large with full appliances. The lounge was nice with comfy furniture. There is a city bus stop in front of the house and an easy walk to the hop……

“The apartment was located in a very central location which was fantastic! We were able to walk to the majority of our sightseeing adventures. Unfortunately the water/pipes in the kitchen were loudly squeaking, disturbing the family throughout our 5-day stay. It also may be time to refresh some of the bedding; pillows, comforters, & sheets.”
