“Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub. The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself! Food, especially breakfast was very good. “We are not to the manor born but we could stay there for a couple nights. It was lovely! Our room and ensuite bathroom were both spacious and comfy. The cooked breakfast plus fruit, yogurt, toast and cereal got us off to a strong start. The car park at Burcombe Manor was nice but we drove in to Wilton and took the bus to Salisbury, which turned out very easy--much better than driving. Burcombe Manor is ideally located for visiting Wilton House, Salisbury, Old Sarum, Stonehenge and Bath. Quiet……

“It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!”

“Very nice property with many period features (it was a railway station originally). Staff were friendly and helpful. We know the fire alarm system works as it went off at 11.30PM (fortunately set off by steam from a shower not a fire). Only observation was that the breakfast seemed expensive didn't find out the quality as we went elsewhere.”
