“It was wonderful. We spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub which was amazing and very relaxing. Everything was great till the fire alarms went off at 7.30 this morning. Luckily it was a false alarm and everything was OK. The staff was awesome and very apologetic. ”

“The front desk personnel and breakfast staff were helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to be friendly. Our double-queen bedroom had one (desk) chair and we needed a 2nd chair to sit in. (Old people some want to sit on the bed to talk / watch TV.) The man at the front desk brought a 2nd chair up to us immediately. The breakfast was ample and hot. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. It was quiet. The bathroom in the room was dated and the tile could have used updating. But……

“34 State is simply a gorgeous 18th century (?) home furnished and decorated with impeccable period style! “Very cute room and atmosphere. Very comfortable bed, strong shower. Not enough staff to help. Ran out of coffee for "breakfast" which was a very limited offering of cold pastries. Very good BED, but not really a BED AND BREAKFAST, just a bed. ”

“Place was great. Fun area. Only issue is that on Saturday night it was SO LOUD on the street out our window that we couldn't sleep until the bars closed at 2:30am. Next time I will plan to be out late. Sunday night however was nice and quiet. ”
