“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any……

“Checkin was seamless, the reception isnt that well highlighted but all fine. Room was located easily. Room light and airy lovely view overlooking the garden. Breakfast was nice and pleasant staff. Went to the bar on the 2nd night female bar staff very unapproachable and not engaging at all. No please or thank you. Other than that pleasant stay ”

“1 night stay over. Easy to find. Large carpark. Nice pub, large rooms, Tuesday night is pizza only. Good choice of pizza and delicious. Check in and check out was hassle free.”

“Lovely clean rooms but would be better if the TV was mounted on the wall so that the mirror could be better used, an extra chair or stool in the bedroom would also be helpful as I had to kneel on the floor. Normally this would not have bothered me but we were getting ready for a wedding.”

“The check in experience was great, really friendly reception staff explained everything. Room was good size, nice and clean. Only complaint would be was top warm and window quite old and stiff to open. We had a drink in the bar and the service was atrocious!!! If we hadn't been staying there we would have walked out. There was a party in front that got served and then The bar person just walked out of the bar. Nothing said to us, no explanation, nothing at all. When she came back eventually……

“Really enjoyed our stay, our friends had a room also I had e.mailed the hotel and asked if we could be close to each other and they e.mailed back to say they had allocated two rooms near each other. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed including hairdryer , ironing board and iron . Would definitely stay again if we were in the area .”
