“Took the wife to the parsonage hotel and spa for a valentine/birthday weekend get away and couldn’t be more happy with the service we received. The room was lovely and spacious not to mention cleaned to a high standard. The area where the hotel is situated is nice and quiet with very little noise. “Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. We ended up using the spa showers in the end which were superb. Scoffs and marks all over the……

“The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered……
