“The chalet was very clean. It was nice and quiet at night. The continental breakfast was great and if we needed anything our hosts were very obliging. Can’t think of any negatives. We are sure that if guests with young children were to stay the kids would love to see and engage with the different animals on the farm. All told we would give this accommodation a ten out of ten.”

“A classic hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly and competent receptionists. Nice breakfast. Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. Have to queue for half an hour at the taxi stop.”

“Absolutely lovely place to stay, the owners are so kind and caring and lovely to speak to we arrived about 5.30pm to a lovely gentleman who showed us around the farm and to our room. There was fresh milk in the room and every amenity you could think of, breakfast was at a time of our choosing 9.30am as we fancied a lie-in, amazing chef the breakfast was to die for. We went for a roam around the fields to see some horses and sheep who were really friendly. Overall all an amazing place to stay and……

“A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My husband is a severe asthmatic and is allergic to feathers. When we realised that the pillows and duvet were feather and spoke to the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to help us. They changed all the bedding and ensured that there were no feathers in the room. Special thanks should go to Suzanne and the blond lady who organised this for us. “Worrying start when we arrived and the premises were closed. We didn’t arrive until 2.30 pm but no one arrived until 2.54 pm. The breakfast was very good, on both days. Very well presented. ”
