“The location is excellent if you have a room on the beach, which we didn't have. We inquired whether we could upgrade to a beachfront room, and the person at the desk told us to call Expedia, which I didn't feel like doing. The service and the room decor is a little unipersonal, which is good to an extent, but I think it could have felt more welcoming. The only decoration in the room is a cute little vintage car, which was nice and a turntable with a few albums, which I didn't find that useful……

“The staff was wonderful. They let us park at the hotel after our stay so we could spend the day at the beach. They also gave us great recommendations for places to eat. The staff make this place great!”

“Have set my mother up here twice now, great service from staff and they were able to accommodate her for accessibility despite me forgetting to request it. Kitchenette was well stocked, plenty of cutlery and very clean. Bed and pull out were both comfortable, rooms were spacious. 7-11 and windfall market are close by, Italian market further up the street and restaurants in walking distance. Walking distance to Island Queen and a quick ride to The Heights beach. ”

“House was very nice, clean, and the host was very attentive. Would have rated it higher but the king bed was uncomfortable (the mattress had a high spot in the middle and sags on both sides) and the shower was too small (it was in a small tub with a curtain on all sides that stuck to me while I was showering)”
