“A beautiful and historic spot, the Hotel Peter and Paul delivers charm and quiet. The bar and restaurant provide delicious offerings, but are not open late. If you want music and midnight eats, Frenchmen Street is just a few blocks away. Be sure to open the little yellow book for recommendations and information about one of the USA’s best cities. Bring a power strip for easier charging of your devices. That said, I really can’t imagine staying anywhere else. ”

“I stayed at the Royal Frenchmen Hotel and Bar with my dad during a last-minute trip to New Orleans. We booked an ADA room, which was affordable and met our needs after his knee replacement. Overall, the stay was decent—not terrible, but not the best either. The location is great if you love nightlife and jazz—right on the edge of lively Frenchmen Street, with live music both outside and inside the hotel. However, the nightly jazz performances make it difficult for light sleepers to get a full……

The location was great for walking to the music scene without being right in the middle of the action, which was perfect for us. It was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay there again. ”

You have to walk-thru one of the bedrooms to us the toilet or kitchen, which can create some potential uncomfortable situations depending on who you travel with. Also, a lot of street dwellers hangout on the front steps at all hours, which could be a little concerning for some.”
