“The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The room was great. The heater was noisy, but I closed the bedroom door and put my earplugs in. The handle on the shower was hard to operate. I would suggest more lighting going down the stairs to my car. But overall, I thought the place was charming and saw a doe and her FAWN in the morning. It also would’ve been nice to have some ice in the refrigerator.”

“I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. The one draw back was booking through VRBO. I was not able to contact the hostess directly and wasn't sure how to check in. It is best to make reservations by directly calling them. “I would step into this marvelous apartment- if I could step back in time! I was amazed at how beautiful and all the attention to detail. Perfect wall paper, Oriental carpets and so much more. A bit of a backstory. I made another reservation on VRBO and that other owner cancelled (shame on you Margo.). There I was at the last minute on graduation weekend with no where to stay.
