“The staff and the facilities were wonderful! The communication with staff made things have a personal touch. I would love to visit here again sometime! ”

“Nice House, Lots of room for the 7 of us. Well stocked with condiments, dishes, pots & pans, etc. Communication with the owner was very good. The resort area was really nice. We enjoyed the lake & the pool. Be aware that you may lose internet up there from time to time and evidently being in the middle of the mountains cell phone coverage is very limited. There is more coverage as you go down to the Rumbling Bald Resort area which is really close. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to go back……

“Sofa looked old, so unsure about how clean it actually was. Same concern about the rugs. The bathroom vanity is small. Very little room to place toothbrush and toothpaste, let alone makeup and hair accessories. Appeared to be black mold on bathroom wall, so no place to hang shower towels. Two lightbulbs out in the bedroom ceiling fan. Kitchen cabinetry was in disarray. TV way to small. Wall air conditioner does not cool into the bedroom. It only cools the open living/kitchen area. Therefore to……

“You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!”
