“The beds were comfortable, and as 3 friends, it was great to have a room each and nice space.The living area was spacious and comfortable too, and lots of space in the kitchen for food preparation and cooking. It was just a very short walk to nature, a really lovely area to be in.We'd gave preferred the hot tub a bit warmer, we couldn't turn it up, but of course, if we were that bothered about it we'd have contacted the hosts.”

“Danby Lodge was an ideal location for a 3 night stay with 12 family members aged 2 to 70!! The house has a variety of comfortable bedrooms and 3 main seating areas giving ample room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen and dining area were of ample size and well equipped. The garden is a delight as are the woodlands and the historic and fascinating Forest of Dean all around. With Crossbill and Firecrest in the garden it is a birders paradise!!The house team offered a warm welcome with helpful……

“Check in chaos but otherwise excellent”

“Clean, comfortable apartment in an excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds. The building was quiet and peaceful with easy parking. The only downside was at times the kitchen tap only ran hot, even when set to cold.”

“When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed ”
