“A couple of nights away with the girls. The apartment was overall good. I should have checked when booking but there is no parking. The area Redlands is nice. The outside of the apartment needs tidying up. The beds and bedding were comfortable but when we went to make one of the beds into double (was a zip lock) the sheeting was filthy with bloody stains. The cleaner did come the next day to change the bedding but was a bit grim. The shower facilities weren’t great as the flow was very weak.……

“The property was perfect for us to use as the base for my daughter and her bridal party to get ready. The space was better than the pictures indicated. However instructions about the studio entrance etc were unclear and we were given an incorrect number to enter the property. The underfloor heating in the studio was on full blast and it made it too hot to sleep we couldn’t find how to turn it down and Vrbo couldn’t help. Please could there be an instruction file. ”

“The beds were comfortable, and as 3 friends, it was great to have a room each and nice space.The living area was spacious and comfortable too, and lots of space in the kitchen for food preparation and cooking. It was just a very short walk to nature, a really lovely area to be in.We'd gave preferred the hot tub a bit warmer, we couldn't turn it up, but of course, if we were that bothered about it we'd have contacted the hosts.”

“Danby Lodge was an ideal location for a 3 night stay with 12 family members aged 2 to 70!! The garden is a delight as are the woodlands and the historic and fascinating Forest of Dean all around.
