“This was my husband and i’s first time glamping and we loved it. The host Vanessa was so friendly and helpful, and we couldnt of asked for anything more. We especially loved our visit from Jack the dog, who was so friendly and well behaved. “Lovely relaxing stay at the site for a couple of days. The yurt had everything we needed and all the facilities were clean. We would very much like to come back and try the dome accomodation.”

“A very nice place to relax and just be. Run by very nice people who were always helpful and friendly. Great pizzas on offer were a real bonus, as we're firepits and wood being available. Will most likely be back in future. ”

“Great pub accommodation above a charming old inn. Obviously there is some noise from the bar but it wasn’t intrusive enough to prevent me from getting to sleep. King size four poster bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Only concern was the very hot towel rail adjacent to the loo, I’d hate to lean against it whilst having sampled one to many of the ales downstairs. ”

“The beds were comfortable, and as 3 friends, it was great to have a room each and nice space.The living area was spacious and comfortable too, and lots of space in the kitchen for food preparation and cooking. It was just a very short walk to nature, a really lovely area to be in.We'd gave preferred the hot tub a bit warmer, we couldn't turn it up, but of course, if we were that bothered about it we'd have contacted the hosts.”

“Danby Lodge was an ideal location for a 3 night stay with 12 family members aged 2 to 70!! The house has a variety of comfortable bedrooms and 3 main seating areas giving ample room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen and dining area were of ample size and well equipped. The garden is a delight as are the woodlands and the historic and fascinating Forest of Dean all around. With Crossbill and Firecrest in the garden it is a birders paradise!!The house team offered a warm welcome with helpful……
