“Our second stay at The Wellington. A lovely gastro pub with B&B. Pub is lovely with great food. Room was large and light and airy with very comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. “A really comfortable stay, and a great night's sleep, that felt miles away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol, but still close enough to other amenities that you don't feel isolated. I didn't have dinner on this occasion, due to other commitments, but the menu looked very enticing. Breakfast was well presented and tasted amazing. “Everything about the Cat and Custard Pot was perfect. They were extremely welcoming offering advice and help. The room was spotless and had everything you needed. The evening meal was delicious. The basil linguine was the best pasta I had had outside Italy. We thoroughly recommend this place. ”

“This was simply a great Hotel/Inn to stay at. Staff were super friendly and nice, beds comfy, breakfast delicious and if you're a history nerd, it's right next to the Roman walls. Would absolutely come here again.”

“Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. “Hotel easily found, free parking, free WiFi (which actually worked). Reception could not have been more helpful. Our suitcases were carried to our rooms. The choice of food on offer was good, waiting staff were courteous and helpful and service was good. We had intended to have a meal in Tetbury but in fact had our meals at the Priory Inn. I would say that the en-suite bathrooms are probably due a refresh. On the plus side, there were fans in the bedrooms and chilled fresh water available from……
