“We enjoyed our one night stay! We had a king size bed and twin for our 16 year old daughter. It was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and clean. The view of the water was beautiful and the restaurant was was so nice. The bartenders and wait staff were wonderful and welcoming; everyone with a smile! “Loved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. “We arrived at 8.15pm and were worried we were too late to eat, bu we received a very warm welcome from a lovely young lady with long blonde hair, who told us that despite our lateness, we could check in before eating. We decided to eat straight away.
The food was delicious. I had ham and leek pie with buttery mash and cabbage and my husband had ham hock, egg and hash brown chips.
