“The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly……

“it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). ”

“Very clean, staff were very polite. Only one thing I think is the shower which was over the bath did not have a handrail or rubber mat! My wife & I are in our late seventies and thought without these items it was quite slippery & dangerous! Other than that very pleased.”

“Amazing stay as always, it’s my go to when I visit my family. Only one thing I wasn’t happy about was the kettle in the room had not been checked or cleaned and I wasn’t able to use it due to this black flaky stuff stuck to the bottom of it on the inside that wouldn’t wash away. Plus it kept turning on randomly through the night so had to unplug it. ”
