It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate. “The best ever reception staff in Ramsgate. Clean room with a wonderful view of the harbour. We felt like very special guests. Booked this for a festival in Margate so it was a short taxi ride there and back and staff so kindly helplful in organising transport. I definitely recommend it. ”

“Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING……

“Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. Breakfast was good and staff polite and helpful.”

“Great older property with lots of charm. The gentleman working the front desk was very helpful and kind. It was a bit warm on the top level (seasonably hot weather). but otherwise it was amazing, also lots of stairs to be aware of. The location was great and easily walkable to the sea! ”
