“We booked this as somewhere nice to stay ahead of a family commitment in Sheffield. Whilst the hotel looks very nice in the pictures, there were some let-downs that did not meet expectations:-
Towel rail and key slot to enable room electrics were broken. Towel rail could not be fixed so towels could not be dried.
Several rooms nearby had multiple dogs in that were barking loudly for a lot of the time.
The restaurant food was generally tasty but the staff did not offer any flexibility with the……

“A very unusual, and singularly unique hotel with much to commend it. The welcome was wholesome and kind. I received help to my room with my luggage. The room was ok. A little tight, but well appointed and suitable for use. Clean, freshly decorated, well-appointed bathroom, excellent shower, etc. The bar area was buzzy with activity and the service was second to none. The drinks were great and the food was excellent. ”
