“Amazing stay at a beautiful property. Just off the Coast to Coast walk, this hotel was a perfect place to recover from a long walk. And the all-day tea/coffee and scones was a lifesaver. The rooms were nice and the food was delicious. Could not recommend more. They even had a place to fill up water bottles/bladders next to a gear drying room, which was a nice touch. ”

“Great property, lovely room, and the food was excellent. Let down a bit by inconsistent messaging through staff. High turnover is inevitable in this part of the world and the ethos of delivery of high standards is not maintained through the core of the staff. I feel that some clear and consistent messaging needs to be passed throughout the staff. “Superb location on sea front with plenty of parking behind hotel via very narrow alley. “We very much enjoyed our two night stay that included an amazing hike that started right out front of the Inn. Our room was lovely but a tad noisey as the Inn is right on the road. It quiets down at night. We had realfast and dinner on site and all were delicious! A cozy spot very easily reached without a car.”

“The room and hotel was elaborate and classy, with a kingsize 4 poster bed. The drapes around the bed and at the window, were swags and tails, with the period furniture that fits in with the hotel. All very grand. The only downfall was that the window was a bit shaky causing a banging noise, which disturbed our sleep at times.”

“The hotel could not have been at a better location on the lake, a very large bar area with terrace overlooking the lake, service was excellent and the room was larger than expected, the breakfast was excellent and we ate twice in the hotel and tad expensive for what it was, we had our dog who could accompany us almost everywhere in the hotel, we enjoyed our stay and would return. ”

"The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks. I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced. Staffs are not really friendly. "
