Just a note that this is a nature reserve in a hacienda, so the rooms smell woody and you can hear birds chirping in the morning, the perfect alarm clock. “Absolutely amazing stay. Unlike any hotel I have visited before with a fascinating back story. We loved wandering the grounds and exploring the hotel. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating, and they offered many activities. We did the cave tour (a must!), the beer and chocolate tasting, the long trail walk, a horseback ride, and a night hike. The food was phenomenal, and they catered to our vegetarian diet. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. More people need to be visiting this……
