“The descriptions and pics for this location do not do it justice. It is an extremely comfortable cabin with an excellent location that provides a sense of serenity and solitude even though it is located mere minutes from many great recreational opportunities. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. It allowed us to explore all that we desired while allowing for an easy return for a restful night.”

“Fantastic cabin for my family - including 2 teens! Everyone had their own space and privacy and the WiFi and cellular service were great. The stream across the street is beautiful! It was only about 20 minutes or so to some great restaurants and a grocery store. The location was beautiful and there were great places to walk with our dog right near the cabin. Close enough to New River Gorge to enjoy the park but not at all crowded. We were looking to get away from stress and this was just what……

“Had a great trip! This place is in the perfect location to explore the area. Quiet, private and beautiful neighborhood with trails and a bridge overlook area. House was clean and as pictured. If you’re looking for a place close to outdoor activities like hiking, rafting, climbing etc. this is a nice base camp!”

“Simple place to stay. We spent most of our time outside exploring, so this is a great affordable place for us to come back to at night. It is a smallish space, so make sure you are close with everyone who is going.Bobby was wonderful as well. ”

“We found this cabin and booked it for a hiking getaway. It was perfect! Clean, cozy, near to town and trails. The hot tub was an added bonus after a day of hiking. We will be back!”

“A few of my friends and I stayed at this cabin to celebrate a birthday and enjoy a bit of the New River Gorge. It was everything we needed and more! The location was convenient to the activities we had planned while giving us the true off the grid mountain experience. The hosts told us everything we needed to know about access/amenities/etc. and there was even a cute book outlining the history of the cabin. A great find and one we would consider renting again in a heartbeat!”

“Great place to disconnect from stresses of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing lifesyle. Creeks to splash in, river to float, mud puddles to splash in and dirt roads to adventure down. Everyone was so welcoming from liz, bars/restaurants, to the locals. The road up started the adventure and set the tone for getting away from it all. Id call it a primitive setting, no bells, no whistles, but just what we needed. If i did need a bell or whistle, liz would have procided it quickly. Cant say enough……
