“Lovely stay, would recommend for room comfort, climate control in every room is amazing. Staff very helpful and provide a rubber bath mat on request. Food menu very varied. Great stopover. We stayed en route to the north and back a week later. Totally recommended.”

“Absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Easy to find, car parking on sight and checked in with the friendly and obliging gentleman on reception even though the room wasn't quite ready. Came back to night manager who was frindly and chatty and helped us to a night cap for the room. Room was great, spacious, clean, comfortable beds although we found the room quite hot. “A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building.”

“Great place for football lovers. Beautiful building, Spacious and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There is history, memorabilia and pictures of English football history and current achievements. The spa facilities are awesome and the staff too. No regrets and will definitely return. Just one negative was that our room had a shower but not a bath. I love to have a long hot bath when away but they tried to move us but the alternative rooms weren't suitable for us.……
