“Basic and budget which suited what I needed. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation is above a pub so beware of possible noise from downstairs. The Room was fine albeit a little tatty and very basic.”

“Clean, spacious room. Good TV at end of bed. Bed very comfortable. Room was warm. Toilet and bath was very clean. Great having a kettle in the room. Shower however was very difficult to use. Shower attachment connected to the bath taps. Temperature whilst showering would repeatedly fluctuate from warm to roasting, then cold. This was the only negative thing. Breakfast was good.”

“Lovely hotel, superb room and comfortable bed. The staff are lovely y. I had to extend my stay but they let me remain in the same room which was great. This hotel was very close to my daughter who I was visiting. I will definitely be staying again ”

“Hired a twin room for the night whilst staying with my daughter after a previous bad experience at a different hotel. The room was clean, the TV worked and the pressure in the shower was nice to me. Stopped for a beer in the pub (noise from which was not heard in the room) and the ladies working were polite and helpful. I felt I received good value for money, I would happily return and would be glad to recommend to others”

“Lovely public space in the hotel. Staff all very friendly and efficient. We had an amazing breakfast. The beds were very comfortable but we marked the facilities down purely based on a very squeeky bed, however we were only there for 1 night so didn't give management the chance to sort it. I'm sure they would have done. Would definitely stay there again. Lovely little town too. ”
