“Dawn Ranch is aspirational and mechanical. It has the feel of an influencer property, with the distinctive flourishes and details in place to make it attractive and exciting. The facilities are clean, spare and modern. The fixtures are sufficiently cool with the edison bulbs. But the details makes it feel like the staff is going through the motions of hospitality. “I enjoyed the 50's/60's vibe at the property. There was a huge pool at the hotel and a nice hot tub. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The only drawback for me was the food. I only ate breakfast there but it was expensive with limited options and what I had was mediocre. I was also surprised that they did not offer iced tea! One of my daily must haves ;-)”

“It's a nice enough property, some distance from the center of Healdsburg. The rooms were fine, but unremarkable - well furnished and nothing appeared overly worn or tired, but not luxurious in any way. There was a single USB charging unit attached to the desk. No other available outlets or charging ports, so a little out of step with the current standard for hotel rooms. The bath was quite small and while it was spotlessly clean, there was no way it could accommodate two people at once. Good……

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
