“Gorgeous beach front area that is quiet and is a great deal! Small family run resort/cottages on the north western end of island 45 minutes from Georgetown and 28 minutes from airport. Good communication with host. Resort restaurant did buffet on Sundays. You need to call them if you want service at other times. Free kayaks to use. Paddling to pig island takes only 30 minutes each way. Highly recommend renting a car. If your cottage has a kitchen, bring frozen food and staples……

“Mom and I started our trip here for our Mother’s Day getaway. Beautiful views and water from the beach or restaurant/bar next door. We were in one of the upper apartments. No view of the beach or water due to the mature palm trees. Apartment is basic - minimal accommodations (like wash any dishes & fill the coffee pot from small bathroom sink) for those looking for a great value and basic accommodations. The only mirror is in the bathroom and you need to be tall. I’m 5’5” and mom is a bit……

It’s the kind of hidden gem you almost don’t want others to find, so it stays as peaceful and private as it is now. “Right on the beach in a quiet part of the island. It's a family-run resort, and Betty, Margaret, and Amos made us feel welcome and at home. You can snorkel and kayak right off the beach. If you, like me and my wife, are happy to accept rustic facilities in exchange for a great price, a fantastic location, and a quiet friendly family-run atmosphere, this is the place for you. We had a rental car, and I highly recommend that for a stay of longer than a few days.”
