“Booked to stay as we were attending the wedding of our nephew. Early wedding so had to leave our bags in the car until after 2pm check-in. Not really a problem but would have been nice to hang my extra clothes earlier. Staff polite and helpful. Room OK but no aircon so quite warm. There was a desk fan in the room so that helped. Breakfast was good with a variety of continental and cooked breakfast. Refreshed regularly”

“Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.”

“The property itself is a little off the beaten track and set in some beautiful countryside. The stable rooms in which I stayed are big, clean well equipped,oder and comfortable. Although there is no onsite catering for evening meals they have a kitchen for reheating your own stuff (microwave) and a large breakfast room in which you can eat takeaways. “Our stay was wonderful, probably the best B&B my wife have stayed in. It was comfortable, beautifully designed and spacious. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The views were stupendous, of course the almost tropical weather helped. Breakfast was just what we expected from a Yorkshire B&B. We cannot speak too highly of Throstle Nest Farm.
