“We had a very good welcome when we arrived late due to a wedding we were attending. Quick and efficient check-in. Rooms were generally good, although the shower had signs of orange bacteria and some black mould on the ceiling. The bottom of the shower door and sealant around it was tatty and looked dirty, so much so that I didn’t want to use it. “We booked for a one night stay, as we were attending our Aunts 80th Birthday party and had to travel a distance. Our evening meal was acceptable as traditional pub grub and the service/staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was FAB, we had a full English and couldn't fault. “The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the city. Personally I didn't like not being able to open a window. The hotel is perfectly functional but has no atmosphere whatsoever. Parking is too expensive”
