“Cosy and good food and a quiz night”

“Nice area close to the beach. The breakfast provided was awesome. Towels, sheets, and pillows were clean. Beds were comfortable. The only complaint I had was that there was a smell in the room possibly from cleaners, we had to leave the window open. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. We were in the wing section not the main hotel.”

“I like Station hotels I’ve stayed in 5 but Carnoustie is the best , unfortunately on this occasion I took ill and they went over and above to assist me on a medical emergency, luckily everything was fine ,,, but regarding the hotel the food was first class the rooms are spotless , will be back in the near future ”

“The hotel was great value for money, giving us a king sized bed and 2 singles in a separate bedroom- very handy for the children to sleep earlier than me. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty with a wide range of options. The only downside is that the floor boards in the corridors were very creaky, and the heavy doors made a lot of noise on closing, meaning my sleep was pretty poor. A big shame as I would have used this hotel again on a road trip down to England, but……

“Reception team were excellent; professional, helpful and friendly. Rooms were lovely and very clean and comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast - service not welcoming and felt like they were in a panic or didn’t know what to do? More staff to support in the dining room may help. The buffet was never stocked with full choice, and the ordered food (pancakes and poached eggs) took ages and was not great. There was a lack of clean cutlery and glasses and the vacated tables were left for……
