“Lovely hotel in Bakewell”

“One night stay, such a lovely quiet village. Room and food top notch. Would stay again if in Peaks.”

“Average stay, tv not receiving signal, boiler broke down, although owner came out to fix within a few hours. Very poor welcome pack (small bottle of milk). No logs or kindling for log burner. View from back of cottage spoilt by messy and junk strewn garden. Nice location with good pubs in village that did good food, just check what days they open.”

“This hotel is located in a beautiful old building with a gorgeous garden. The rooms are charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each day and the bar in the evening. Nice wine selection! Its a great locattion for visiting Chatsworth House and the beautful scenery of the Peak Distict.”

“The perfect spot to enjoy the Chatsworth Estate and walk to the house. The food is delicious and all from the area. Everyone is so kind and welcoming I didn't want to leave!”

“The room is immaculate, there are nice touches like ground coffee and a french press, first time I have had this even in £500+ a night rooms. There is plenty of free parking on the street outside. The only thing to be mindful of is that there is a big step both into the room and the bathroom for those with reduced mobility like myself - this is in addition to the 6 steps i was aware of. There is no aircon or fan so we opened the bedroom and bathroom windows and it was fine. Old school air……
