“The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham. We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills. Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus. We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.”

“The proprietor was very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. There was also tea,coffee, biscuits and water available in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. They do not do breakfast but the proprietor recommended places where we could obtain an evening meal with a pint of real ale and also some breakfast the following morning. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“Only an overnight stop but was left wanting to stay longer. Quaint cottage in small village location but close to lots of interesting places. Pub next door served great breakfast.”

“Really good for the price. Clean and provided everything anyone would need. The people who ran the place were absolutely lovely. I had a single room with a sea view and thought it was a bargain compared to some of the other places I've stayed with a similar view!!”

“The hotel is two mins away from the start of park run . On street parking not a problem . Friendly service from staff . Hotels . Com states breakfast on a weekend is until 10am however it’s until 0930 which was a concern , but the staff said no problem and saved me some breakfast . Hotels. Com says check out is 1030 but hotel states 10am . We was able to leave for 10am. Room was adequate , it was a hot night due to the weather , so radiators being turned on made it slightly uncomfortable . Tv in……
