“The staff who were on rota are lacking in customer service skills. Room had no body wash or other hygiene products other than hand soap. For a 4 star hotel, this is pretty poor. The food was lovely, but no condiments were delivered to the room. Blood stained carpets & ill fitting matress protectors, are also not conducive to 4 star hotels.”

“Stayed here for a couple of nights for a wedding nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly. Had a very tasty meal on Friday night. Good choice at breakfast. Hotel feels quite tired and in great need of renovation. No blackout curtains in our room, and quite a lot of road noise (which can’t be avoided), so I’d suggest taking ear plugs. Otherwise handy for Hamilton and surrounding area. Good parking on site.”
