“The location was excellent. Walking distance to old town and right by the river that has a beautiful walking path along it. Also easy walking distance to Bodegas Francos Españolas Winery. The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze. There is onsite parking - your car gets its own elevator and designated space. ”
“Maybe the most convenient location in San Sebastian. It was so nice to be able to walk to any of our favorite pintxo bars in under five minutes. Also, if we wanted to take a break during the day, we were always within walking distance to the hotel. The staff was excellent, friendly, and very helpful with any questions we had. + very spacious and the bed was very confortable.
- lack of hooks to hang wet towels etc. Swimming pool only open during the summer - closed from mid Sep. Part of the reason we booked (small honeymoon) here was to have a few days by the pool had we known it would have influenced our decision.
Location:
+ peaceful and quiet. not far by bus into the town around 20min on busy day and 15min when less busy. bus stop right outside hotel can use contactless……

Spent a night in the Artist Gran hotel of Arts on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. I do not know if it was because of my backpack and casual pilgrim dressing but from the start, the service was a bit arrogant. I booked a room with queen size bed (indicating preference on high floor), but was given a DOUBLE bed for 3rd floor. As for the view, Smart Inner View means facing the window of your neighbor (welcome back to the dormitory in the Albergue!). An experience certainly not to be repeated. Get yourself an hotel with better service. You deserve better!"
"Bad service and accommodation for the price!
For a new hotel the room is extremely badly designed. No socket for the kettle, constant buzzing sound from the electric box and poor drainage in the shower leading to a bad smell. Cleaning is also bad. Used toothpick found in the sink area and left there for four days. Mugs left unwashed. Coffee/amenities in the room not topped up.
Breakfast is not worth the money and runs out of food at least an hour before breakfast is due to finish, staff very lazy and don’t attempt to top up the food or clear plates from tables (whilst eating food in front of guests). Same level of poor service was seen in the rooftop bar, with glasses all over near the pool. All staff need a significant amount of training to be at an acceptable standard. "
