“Not a luxury hotel by any means but very reasonably priced and conveniently located.”

“Beautifully located with views over lake and hills. Great manor house wooded interior with a maze of landings and hallways. Decorated in a great jumble of styles. Breakfast was excellent, served and cooked well. Room was clean and well maintained. Definitely would return. Grumps…no wifi on top bedrooms. Heating was controlled centrally and was chilly.”

It’s lovely and quiet despite being so close to the motorway. Immediately put at ease and reassured that it’s a great place to stay, even if as it is for us just an overnight stopover mid journey. ”
