“What a great location and house is fabulous! Plenty of room and the game room was so much fun! We had 11 people in the house and it was very comfortable. The alpacas were such an added joy! Worth it!!!”

“Trophy house is a very cool place for a guy or a couple. As a 65 yr old woman alone it was kinda spooky. It’s connected to a big house that was empty and above a sort of reception hall, also empty. Across the driveway/parking space is a half built structure that looks like it’s going to stay that way. The pool is (or was for me in mid June) murky, algae, old and not useable. Too bad because that was a selling point for me. There are no blinds on the bathroom or big main room windows which was……

“Awesome place”

“We stayed here to have room for our family to be together while visiting relatives in Gunter, Tx. This lovely home has a good amount of space and a big, beautiful kitchen. It is a little hard to find in the dark but worth the effort.”

“Had a great time staying here and hosting an event. The owners were attentive to any messages and very helpful. Clean, comfy and close to amenities/restaurants!”

“The location is aptly described as “country living at its best.” Close to eating and shopping in Roanoke, but nicely secluded from the close by subdivisions. The house layout was very comfortable for our family. Three separate families interacted easily. Especially enjoyed the large kitchen area. House itself is well maintained.”

“Overall great property to stay at. That brings said there were a few issues, there was no manual on how anything should be done or what the checkout process should be. No idea what to do with trash or linens at end of stay. No instructions on the amenities, heated pool and hot tub did not work. As well as TV and thermostat had no instructions on how to use first night everyone was cold. But great place to stay and will stay again if amenities are fixed. ”
