“I gave a 4 star according to the host’s criteria. Ali is friendly and an efficient host. The property is in a nice location and the parking was a plus. Unfortunately, the pictures are deceiving and most likely taken when it was newly renovated and with good lighting. This is a garden/basement apartment. It is quite dark and dingy because the apartment hasn’t been maintained. The walls are scuffed/dirty, blinds are broken, curtain rods falling off. It is in need of a true cleaning and refresh……

“This wonderful house allowed us the time and space to reunite with our sailor after his 9 week boot camp at the Great Lakes Naval base. We loved walking to dinners in the fun Main Street area. “We were there for my son's graduation. We chose this because of the location and Libertyville being a very safe area. We are from Georgia, and this was our first trip to Chicago. We could not have picked a cleaner, well stocked unit for our stay. I have recommended this to other friends and family that have children joining the Navy after high school. Restaurants nearby and only 15 minutes to sailor pickup for their liberty time (extra time to spend with them and)!!”

“Everything was well stocked and cleaned. The listing mentioned two twin beds (4 total beds) but there was only one twin (3 total beds) luckily it wasn’t a big issue for my group because there were 3 air mattresses and the couch if need be. You’ll definitely hear the upstairs neighbors if you have them but it only affected our sleep one night. Thank you for the stay. ”
