“If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.”

“A truly amazing inn in the heart of Somerset. The staff are so lovely helpful and enthusiastic. the food is superb and just in the right quantity to feel full but not over full. “This is such a lovely hotel. Really welcoming staff, comfortable, quiet room and close to shops and eating places in Chard. The breakfast was so good, cooked to order, really can't fault anything. ”
