“Everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff and manager, Angel, made us feel incredibly welcome. It was our first time in Roatán, and staying at La Placita truly made it special. What makes La Placita unique is its charming shopping center filled with local restaurants — and we had the chance to try them all! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We highly, highly recommend dining at the local spots on-site. Be sure to try the three lobster tails special……

“We had a few things wrong with our room at check in. They also asked for $16 more for a fee they said Expedia didn't pay. Our coffee pot was broken. Our safe was broken. The whole room needs some TLC. Over all our stay was very nice. They could use a place to sit in all the rooms . Ours had no chairs. We had to drag the rocking chairs in every night to sit on other than the bed. They did a fantastic job of cleaning and food was delicious. They did bring me another coffee pot and had to give us a……

“the staff at Paradise Hotel were friendly. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was family friendly I went with my twelve year daughter and she had fun playing in the pool with other children. There was different entertainment at dinner each night. We really enjoyed the Garifuna people dancing punta that was our favorite. Two things they need to improve. When taking a shower hot water runs out immediately and there was no dresser in the room to store clothes.”

“The beachfront location is great and the staff are super nice. The property grounds are definitely in dire need of repair and maintenance but the beachfront location is excellent for a quick weekend gateway.”
