“The staff was very friendly. It was an older hotel but had everything we needed. Two lounge chairs for tv watching, a kitchen small but efficient for our needs. Only negative was a stained shower curtain in the bathrooom shower. There was a table and chairs where we could have our meals. However we ate out to celebrate my husbands 94th birthday. There were many stores and restaurants within driving area. We walked down the beach but it was cold and windy this time of year so unable to go in the……

“It’s too close to the seashore ”

“The Beachside was perfect for what I needed, a quick, one-night stop. The room was comfortable and clean, and I got a good night’s rest. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. However, like every property around it, The Beachside suffered significant storm damage. The deck and pool were damaged and off limits. The sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock. Once repairs are finished, I’d up this rating significantly. ”

“The room was clean and nice. Murphy bed was fine. Sink drained slow, Restaurants were close by. Good place for a couple day stay”

“The property was beautiful. The room was great and everything was just perfect. All separate speedia, they dropped the ball and I had to go someplace else”

“The hotel is still under repair on the outside due to the hurricane ,so no pool or beach access , however there is beach access and washrooms in the adjacent parking lot . The staff are incredibly hospitable. They went above my expectations . I understand the not having a pool area , however they were working on it , and feel it will be completed soon. Rooms are a little dated , but spacious and clean . I definately would go back ”

“As long as you avoid their restaurant and horrible attempt at Starbucks, the Shores is a great place to stay. The only problem in the rooms was the way overly intense deodorizer used in the hallways. Beautiful ocean view abd patio.”

“The room’s amenities were too old. The Wi-Fi would go out. My charger cord melted and I had to throw it away. The elevator, room, and main entrance all had a stinky smell (not the paint). Anyway the prices is reasonable!”

“The place is cute and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were spanking clean and freshly painted. I love that it had full appliances, sink, fridge and microwave, even plates, glasses and dish soap!Two TVs for a one bedroom unit which is nice. The only thing I would add is an extractor fan in the bathroom and a hanging armuoir (sp) since there is no closet. I would definitely come back!”
