“I really enjoyed my three nights; price point, staff service, just the whole vibe of a busy hotel. I only really marked down a category because the place has a somewhat dated but sophisticated feel to it (spacious rooms with lovely views with ‘popcorn style ceilings’) … Generous room service was nice (lots of towels) and even fun to just people-watch in the grand lobby and listen to the front-desk staff accommodate just about every customer; this place goes above & beyond! “Definitely consider a stay at the Flat Iron when in Asheville. The historic charm comes through the modern updates with thoughtful design. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a surprise beverage upon check-in. The bed is very comfortable and the shower water pressure is strong (bonus!). Location is walkable to several dining and beverage options, yet the blackout shades provided an environment for a restful sleep. Several thoughtful touches make this a memorable hotel. “After not staying in a hotel for a few years, I was absolutely thrilled with this hotel. Wonderfully clean and comfortable. I would stay again. “Check-in was easy and fast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great pillows. The room was everything we had hoped for. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we are in the area. The breakfast was regular hotel breakfast. I tried the sausage, eggs, biscuit and gravy. I only ate a bite of each. I would pass on that. Didn’t stay long enough to use the pool but it looked good. ”
