“I really enjoyed my three nights; price point, staff service, just the whole vibe of a busy hotel. I only really marked down a category because the place has a somewhat dated but sophisticated feel to it (spacious rooms with lovely views with ‘popcorn style ceilings’) … Generous room service was nice (lots of towels) and even fun to just people-watch in the grand lobby and listen to the front-desk staff accommodate just about every customer; this place goes above & beyond! “Definitely consider a stay at the Flat Iron when in Asheville. The historic charm comes through the modern updates with thoughtful design. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a surprise beverage upon check-in. The bed is very comfortable and the shower water pressure is strong (bonus!). Location is walkable to several dining and beverage options, yet the blackout shades provided an environment for a restful sleep. Several thoughtful touches make this a memorable hotel. “After not staying in a hotel for a few years, I was absolutely thrilled with this hotel. Wonderfully clean and comfortable. I would stay again.
