“Amazing - if you are interested in the last few hundred years of U.S. History, I'd put this one on your list of places to visit. Just a great experience. Out of the innumerable artifacts dating back to the end of the 18th century, I particularly was taken back by the original copy of a page from April 15th, 1865 - I didn't have time to see everything. The property's stewards will most likely offer a tour and they are really nice folks. I thought this location was aggressively under priced. ”

“It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. ”

“We had such a surprising and relaxing weekend at The Elms. Our favorite was the spa and grotto. We appreciated that the staff did make rounds in the grotto, to remind some of the bachelorette party members to keep voices down. The food was good, the suites were spacious, and the grounds were very well kept. The morning Cafe/coffee bar is in desperate need of staff, but they managed despite the long line. Overall, we would stay again!”

“Parking is not close to doors but they do have lights. Casino is not close to the hotel. Lots of people smoke in the casino.”
