“We loved our stay at the Dogwood Inn. We had the best of both worlds--a quiet, peaceful setting in the woods with Rte. 25A and all of its conveniences just a short drive away. “I was in New York for a training and was able to meet up with my son who's a student in Queens. We spent the weekend exploring Montauk and several parks, and even saw some seals sunning themselves on the rocks! The apartment had everything we needed including two separate bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and a simple, but functional kitchen. The host was very communicative and even offered several options for grocery shopping and enjoying LI. Wonderful experience!”

“Exactly as advertised. Spacious for 1-2 people. 3 cement steps going down into living quarters from outside which may be a problem for some. Was not for me. Neighborhood well maintained. The only drawback for us was that we stayed in the lower apt and we could hear the guests above us walking, talking, using the water/restroom, etc. the first night. So that was not ideal.
