“Got the room option with private bathroom very basic but good for what we needed. Felt safe and it was super convenient to everything. Hostel vibes with friendly staff and a restaurant right next door. If you want a place to rest your head between adventures this is it. ”

“The place is big and has everything we need (blankets for cold nights or AC for hot weather, hair dryer, towels plus everything to cook). The place is quiet, surrounded by nature and just far enough from Santa Elena (5 min drive). You do need a 4x4 to get to Las Marias. The host was very nice and accomodating with our arrival/departure times. We had a fantastic time. We would go back for sure!”

“The host was very personable and took care to provide information of things to do around the surrounding area. However, the road to get to the hotel from Arenal was treacherous as it was mostly uphill, lots of curves and unpaved making it difficult to navigate.”

“I was thinking just a room with the breakfast included option for two people but it turned out they have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host and her daughter were super friendly and willing to help us out. They recommended a good local restaurants and our stay was very comfortable. It’s a nice location too.
