“The Lanai and Bedroom was a good overnight stay. Clean and exactly what we were looking for. Location was not great. But we knew that when we booked. We did find a great restaurant in Pahoa Village. About a 5 minute drive from the property. ”

“The Jungalow is cute and convenient. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. My 3 year old loved the chickens! We were fortunate that we were able to see the volcano erupt and loved being close enough that we could go to Volcano Park during the day and again at night. ”

“Maille Treehouse is a beautiful property set in the rainforest in Volcano. Just 8 min to Volcanoes National Park. It truly has a treehouse feel but is modern, cozy with lovely decor. It is well stocked with supplies. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, whirlpool tub and full size laundry. Adorable lanai to enjoy for coffee, meals or sitting to enjoy the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Easy 40 min drive to Hilo for a day trip. A peaceful retreat after long hikes in the park. ”

“Great property, family of 4 plus grandpa plenty of space. Sister could escape outside to read on the hammock. Kitchen had the essentials. Easy drive to the volcano!”

“Beautiful house. Really enjoyed the sounds of the rainforest. The frogs and the pheasants. The hot tub was wonderful after long hikes in volcanoes national park located only 2 miles away. The house was clean with an adorable style. Highly recommend.”

“This little cottage was perfect! It was super clean, had everything we needed, comfy beds, nice linens, fresh flowers and character. The owners put a lot of care into the decor and comforts inside the cottage. Everything worked fine and was as expected, if not better. Loved the two bathrooms off the bedrooms for our teens.The grounds need a ton of work that I'm sure is overwhelming for the owners. There is so much history hidden in that jungle! From mossy stone pathways to no where to overgrown……

“I well recommend this place 100%. Clean, complete with pretty much everything you need including washer and dryer like staying in your own house. nice location, close to restaurant and of course the ocean on your backyard couldn’t ask for more.We enjoyed our stay. Definitely we’ll rent this house again.Thank you!”
