“A very nice stay , last minute booking, very warmly greeted on arrival, asked what I wanted for breakfast and what time. Nice comfortable room with adaquate en-suite facilities with plenty of water provided in the room. In the morning, I was again greeted in a warm manner and had one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. I’ve paid double price and not had this quality. The owners really couldn’t do enough for me. ”

“One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I haven’t mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didn’t use them this time! I can’t remember what I paid for my one-night visit but it was a bargain, and I would be very happy to……

Love the views of Torbay and the internal architecture and furnishings of the hotel. It was a shame that the outdoor pool was closed but enjoyed the indoor pool / spa facilities.”

They ensured we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for the local area. “Our room 172 was clean, spacious and included an en-suite walk in shower. Breakfast included English style cooked , yogurt & berries, cereals, fruits, toast with all jams, marmite and honey. mini pastries were also available. We ate in the dining room and from the bar menus. Staff were very professional, kind and gave service with a smile. To note Mel from the Spa was fantastic, we had x2 full hour treatments each ”
