“Spent Thanksgiving week at the beach with my family.... 9 of us and 2 dogs. Had a great time. It's a little walk over the dunes to the water but great beach. Looks like it would be fun in the summer. The house had everything we needed. Even stairs! With the main items on the top floor...you'll do a lot of stairs. Lots of bathrooms, 2 fridges, washer/dryer. 2 outdoor showers. Pool looks nice though we didn't swim. Hottub was nice. Top floor living area/kitchen were open and conducive to……

“Great property in Salvo NC! Great for all ages (4 to 90 y/o!). Jacuzzi, pool, and elevator drew us to the house. Beach was a short walk over the dunes. Host was quick to reply to any questions! ”

“This lovely property is situated idyllically right on the sound, with gorgeous sunset views, comfy beds and truly delightful decor throughout. VERY clean. Nice quiet, yet friendly neighborhood. The ocean side is a 3 minute drive away, and the overall location was near enough to everything our group wanted to see.Our only issues were supplies: For a 4-night stay, we were left only 2 pods for the dishwasher (and after each cycle there was always a clump of hardened detergent left in the dishwasher……

“I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the property. Everything was clean. The rooms were comfortable. The views from the balconies were amazing. We really appreciated all the beach equipment provided, and also the games and puzzles. Our complaint is with Vacasa. When we arrived at the property, the code we were given for the front door was incorrect. It took us speaking to Vacasa and them having to send someone out to finally get in. Our other complaint with Vacasa is that the internet……

“This property had a great view of the from the deck. The dolphins swimming by each day were a bonus. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. There was plenty of space for our whole group. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again. ”

“The hosts, Thomas and Christine could not have been quicker on the response time to our questions. Their house is located in very quiet neighborhood that is close to the beach. If you are looking to get away from it all this would be a great place for you and the family.”

“House was big enough for our group but definitely needed some TLC and a deep, deep, deep clean. Carpets needed to be cleaned and the pool was a bit dirty. ”
