“We coordinated our trip with friends staying at the KOA. This apartment was close enough to make meeting up for dinner/sight seeing easy. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood which we prefer over the noise of all the activity areas of the campground. The open room layout was fine for the two of us and the beach is within a sort walking distance.”

“This was our first time staying in Avon. This was a cozy room in a great location. The Avon Pier was right across the street. Coffee in the cafe was delicious and convenient. Dawn was accommodating and had great recommendations for area restaurants. We also enjoyed a clay class and made our own coffee mugs. What a great experience. ”

“We loved our stay here! The studio apt was all brand new and immaculate! The bed was comfortable and the shower was great too. (which is always important) The hosts were very helpful and welcoming! We would definitely stay here again.”

“Our stay was amazing! Our unit was so clean and comfortable! Everything we needed for our stay was there and the communication with the host was outstanding. They responded within less than 30 mins. “We had so much fun at this property! I felt like it was perfect because we had a washer and dryer, so it was great for washing clothes for our baby (we traveled with a 7 month old). I liked that there were 2 bathrooms, and the bedrooms were extremely spacious! This didn’t really bother us, but keep in mind that the location isn’t right on the beach. I would say it’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach through some neighborhoods behind the cabanas. And Hatteras is known for mosquitoes, so if……

“We absolutely loved the cabana and the personnel at Wtermen’s retreat! From check in to dining and the water sports offered, all were nothing short of spectacular! We had a blast at our cabana and the beach was a short walk away. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and the sunsets were freaking awesome! “This was the first time we stayed in Avon versus Duck or Corolla. We will never go back north! Avon was great! The home is a quick 7 minute walk to the Avon Pier and beach. There are restaurants and shops in walking distance of the house. There is even a farmer's market during the summer on Tuesdays - right near the house. The house itself is very new - and very clean. The owner was super responsive and our stay was amazing. We were also able to bring our pets. I can't say enough about the……
