“Amazing little Gem near Gig Harbor! We had a wonderful stay! The first night we arrived very late. It was pouring down rain and dark outside. We were able to find the place very easily and once in it was very cozy. There is a little door that opens up to the forest and was really peaceful listening to the rain all night. “Our stay at this VRBO was absolutely fantastic! The house was beautifully remodeled and felt incredibly clean and fresh. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. We also appreciated the small, private backyard—it was a perfect spot to let the dogs out.The location was another huge plus. It was super convenient and close to everything we wanted to do. “This was an awesome spot for my wedding weekend. With kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub and games there was little time for boredom. We used the solarium for getting ready the morning of the wedding and it set a perfect vibe for my day. We had a small water leak the first day under the sink and Dave was quick to head our way and get it fixed. The floors and walls do slope and the doors slam if you let them close on their own but that added character. ”

“Very cool place. The kayaks are awesome. Very cool to see the tide go out and in. Saw fireworks over the hill in Tacoma that had to be after a Rainier’s game at Cheney Stadium. Pretty cool. Very relaxing place. Use the water jug near the kitchen instead of tap water for cooking would be my only suggestion. Easy check in and out process. ”

“My family (my wife, 2 daughters, a son-in-law, and a 2.5 month old granddaughter) were in Bremerton for my oldest brother's funeral. This house was very clean with modern appliances and comfortable beds. It was centrally located for all of our activities with extended family. The host responded to all my questions quickly. The house was in a nice , quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if the need arises.”

“The Abode On the Sea is very charming. The bed was especially comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The view is spectacular! I especially appreciate the hot water on demand and great water pressure. The abode is very accessible to the lovely town of Winslow/Bainbridge Ferry and other attractions like several beaches, the Grand Forest and a quick drive to the Rolling Bay Area and Bloedel Reserve (a must see natural delight). We highly recommend this delightful abode.”

There was even a bald eagle that we saw several times. Tony was so friendly and helpful. The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied, and there were a few grocery store options very close by. We would stay here again, no question!”
